Extension privacy notice
Applies to the Eva browser extension developer preview, version 0.1.0.
Access you grant
You connect from a signed-in Eva tab and explicitly share each other tab. Eva can read visible page text, page titles, URLs, and controls, and perform supported actions using that tab’s existing login. The extension uses temporary active-tab access and packaged scripts. It does not request cookie, browser history, debugger, or all-sites permissions.
Where data goes
Shared page content, URLs, control descriptions, and action results are sent through your authenticated Eva connection to the Eva host you selected. Your host processes this information and may send it to your configured AI provider. The host operator is inside this trust boundary. Page text may include personal, financial, health, or other sensitive information; share only the tabs you intend Eva to use.
Storage and retention
The extension keeps its connection and tab grants in memory. It does not store page content or credentials persistently and has no extension analytics. Cookies and saved passwords are not exported. Eva conversation history and provider processing have their own retention rules; disconnecting the extension does not delete information already sent to Eva.
Control and deletion
Select Stop all sharing in the extension to disconnect and revoke every grant. Navigation, connection loss, and browser restart also end sharing. Uninstalling removes the extension; use your Eva host’s account and conversation controls to manage data already stored there.
Questions
For data requests, contact the operator of the Eva host you connected to using that host’s published support channel. This preview is not yet published in a browser store.
